Henry Wallace Farm Tour & Dinner Register by April 12th.
The Iowa Section IFT will travel back in time to visit the birthplace farm of Henry A. Wallace, founder of Pioneer Hi-Bred, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and U.S. Vice President. Wallace was recognized by the Des Moines Register in 1999 as the “Most Influential Iowan of the 20th Century”. We will tour the farm and learn about Abundance Preserved Foods, which are small batch products like seasonings, culinary salts, butters, and compotes made using the herbs, fruits and vegetables grown organically on the farm. Please dress to be outside on the farm for the tour.
